Sun Devil Mock Trial (SDMT) at Arizona State University is a competitive trial advocacy organization that combines speech, debate, theater, and even science! It’s courtroom drama, theatrical drama, and dramatic rhetoric all rolled into one.
Objectives
→ Create the official logo for the SDMT that reflects the school spirit and personality.

Finely aged wine
I learned Jane appreciates luxury goods as well as great wine. The idea came abruptly while creating different iterations with the way the J could be cropped and a rectangular box could mimic a wine box.
This was the way I pitched the idea along with the drafts you see above:
“Like aged wine. Luxury boxed. Paired with the strong accent curl of the letter J completed with the simple rectangle shape that mimics a wine box. It makes me think this realtor is high class and a beauty to behold.
